In a new interview for CNBC, The Wall Street Journal's Joanna Stern and Daring Fireball's John Gruber discussed their thoughts about Apple's transition to Apple Silicon with the M1 and showed a real-world comparison of the new MacBook Pro's 720p camera.
Preparing your slides is essential. Transitions and animations are played back-to-back. If there are no time delays built into your presentation then it will play from start to finish probably way too fast. You might want to insert time delays around the animations and transitions. That said, if you plan on editing the resulting video, then inserting the time delays may not be necessary. The diagram below shows you where to find the time controls on the Animation and Transition tabs.
This method will easily allow you to export your presentation to a 720p video in a matter of minutes. Some people have been disappointed by the quality of the rendered video, in terms of resolution and frame rate.
Once you're happy with your video, it's time to export and share! You can choose from a range of resolutions to suit your video's destination (720p for social media or 1080p for websites). Post anywhere and everywhere to impress viewers with your seamless video transitions.
Well-chosen transitions can enrich your video's narrative. Build anticipation with the soft and slow Cross Fade, generate excitement with the fast-paced Spin or communicate a passing of time using the Wipe Left and Wipe Right transitions.
Produce visually captivating videos with our most artistic transitions. Eye-catching video transitions like Ink and Tiles inject personality into your videos and are perfect for Instagram ads, music videos and more.

Powerful live switcher with 4 HDMI inputs, hardware streaming engine, recording to USB disks, USB webcam out, audio mixer, 2D DVE, transitions, green screen chroma key, 20 stills for titles and more!
One of the benefits of ATEM Mini is the professional production values that are possible using the range of built in video effects! The cut button ensures an instant cut when switching between sources. The auto button is a professional term that's used on large broadcast switchers to enable video effect transitions. There are duration buttons for video effects allowing 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 second settings. You can also select the type of effect you want including mix, which does a smooth transition between sources, and dip which fades via a color during the transition. Or use fun DVE effects that move the image off screen when transitioning between sources!
Each of the HDMI inputs feature their own dedicated standards converter. That means ATEM Mini will automatically convert 1080p, 1080i and 720p sources to the switcher video standard! By default the switcher will set its video format automatically, however you can also set the switcher to any video standard! The HDMI outputs are a true "aux" output so you can clean switch each HDMI input to the output. You can even "direct" switch input 1 to the HDMI output for low latency eSport productions. Plus ATEM Mini Extreme models support 2 low latency direct loops! The HDMI output can display a full multiview that lets you see all inputs, program, preview and streaming status on a single monitor!
One of the most exciting features on ATEM Mini is the digital video effects processor, commonly referred to as a "DVE", that allows picture in picture effects and crazy DVE transitions! The DVE lets you create professional picture in picture effects with customizable 3D borders, shadows and lighting. The image quality is the same as high end ATEM switcher models and the DVE supports position, resize and scale, all in real time. The DVE can also be used to create amazing transitions with 16 different DVE squeeze and DVE push effects for adding excitement to your programming. The DVE features a "fly key" so you can use it with custom graphics to create graphic wipe transitions!
ATEM Mini includes a wide range of broadcast quality HD native transitions such as mix, dip, wipe and more. All transitions can be customized by adjusting parameters such as duration, border color, border width, position and direction. You can also use the DVE in transitions, allowing a graphic to be moved over the wipe edge which is called a graphic wipe, and is used in sports programming. To eliminate errors, ATEM Mini has a preview transition feature so you can check your transitions before putting them to air!
With Ethernet built in, ATEM Mini can use hardware control panels for high end workflows that take advantage of the hidden broadcast features in the switcher! The ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel features the fast program/preview style with separate source buttons for both program and preview rows. Get direct access to all transitions automatically or manually using the t-bar. For accurate control of the DVE the joystick provides X, Y positioning with rotation setting DVE size. You also get LCD menus to control features that don't have dedicated knobs and buttons. You can even program and trigger macros! Plus you can use ATEM 1 M/E Advanced Panel later if you upgrade to a bigger ATEM switcher!
You can upload media from your mobile device, choose from our huge stock library, or use our camera to snap a new photo or video. Then adjust the order of your clips and add transitions, text, music, and animations.
For streaming or recording in 720p, the two main options are bitrate and resolution. For 720p video at 60 frames per second, the recommended bitrate range is 2,500 to 5,000 kbps. The Canvas Resolution should be the size of the window you want to capture. The Scaled Resolution should be 1280 × 720 for a 720p stream or video.
Iv've created a keynote presentation with transitions and effects from slide to slide. When I watch the slide show in Keynote everything looks great. When i export to Quicktime I experience a glitch in-between all of the slides. Ie: I watch a slide and then the transition happens the new slide appears and then a very quick reappearance of the previous slide. I've tried all of the QT sport options to no avail. Any thoughts?
Any luck or updates??? I have the exact same issue. Before i did any updates in Late October I was able to export a presentation from Keynote just fine. Post updating OS and Keynote major glitch in my transitions. I tried sending the file to another Macbook Air I own running previous OS (with Keynote 7.3.1) and have the same issue when exporting to video. Never had this problem before. The glitch only occurs with transition animations.
I just installed High Sierra 10.13.2 on MacBook Pro Retina Mid 2012. Have recorded almost 2000 slides with Keynote 7.3.1. Same problem NOW for me ... 1 second transitions between slides ALL GLITCH on exporting to 720P Quicktime, as well as to ProRes422. Now what? Totally unusable. And ... my larger files aren't opening at all. Any help appreciated. I don't have a backup of old OS 10.12.6 that worked fine on all counts. Should have converted to ProRes422 before updated ... I know. Anyone know how I can REINSTALL 10.12.6 or other solution?
Did some experimenting. Set up a slideshow using all the slide transition animations. Slides contained images and text ungrouped. Recorded the slideshow, running through each slide transition. Exported recorded slideshow to QuickTime, using the 720p preset. The following slide transitions showed the glitch (flashframe of previous slide):
Repeated the above routine, but this time went into Keynote Preferences and checked "Apply motion blur to animations." The following slide transitions showed the glitch (flashframe of previous slide):
Step 2. Select the Video Quality option and then select either 360p, 480p, 720p, 1080p or Auto for the video resolution.
You can choose resolution depending on your Screens and need. You can create signage displays using standard resolution HD (720p) and full HD (1080p) . Most of the piSignage implementations are done using 720p or 1080p resolution screens. Some popular features of piSignage like multi zone displays can be easily created in these 2 resolution screens with the help of pre built layouts.
In this new video training on After Effects, we will learn to blow our texts in thousands of particles to generate attractive and dynamic transitions between different texts (or logos).
