After the measurement module is successfully executed, it creates a measurement-run file in the *.XML files. The file contains a timestamp, a description of the measured result, a list of measurements (modules), and a summary of the measurement run. In addition, the file includes the following sections:
A metric module creates an additional MeasurementRun file, which contains two sections, namely the Metric and Names sections. The Metric section contains a reference to an identifier of the metric. The Names section stores a list of names of the metric. The names are automatically assigned by the module, and may be changed by the user.
Once the analysis is complete, a new version of the executable is generated. This version is then deployed to the production environment, which is now ready to receive and analyse incoming data. The new version of the executable is scheduled to be updated within a few hours of creation. The update process consists of adding the new version of the executable to the production environment's path, re-starting the application, and then deleting the previous version of the executable. This update process is a precautionary measure to ensure that the time between updates is not greater than the time it takes for the new version to be loaded into the environment's path and for the server to restart. The analysis is terminated when the current analysis interval expires, and the process is then deleted from memory. The analysis has been run for a total of 21 intervals.
The web server configuration is minimal, but sufficient for the tests. It consists of an independent web server installed for testing purposes. The test system consists of a web server with specific URLs for communication with the server. The web server is not listening to HTTP requests, but only to specific URLs for communication. In addition, the web server is configured to log all requests with the XML-RPC protocol to a log file. 827ec27edc
